There are moments when the world around us just feels... off. A misplaced shadow, a voice with no source, a road that leads somewhere it shouldn’t. Most people dismiss these as tricks of the mind, the byproduct of exhaustion or imagination. But some know better. Some listen to the whispers.
The whispers come from the spaces in between—from echoes of lost time, from doorways that were never meant to be opened. They are warnings, secrets, glimpses of the unknown, murmuring just beyond the veil of reality. Some speak of things that have already happened. Others tell of what’s still to come. And a few… are invitations.
Most people ignore them. They turn away, pretending not to hear. But you… you have chosen to listen. And once you do, there is no turning back.
Welcome to… Whispers from the other side.
Episode 1: The Other Side of the Window
Time is more than a ticking clock—it holds echoes of the past, glimpses of the future, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. When the fabric of reality frays, what truths slip through? Is it real or just imagination?
Act I: The New Home
Tom never believed in ghosts, premonitions, or anything remotely supernatural. He was a numbers guy, a meticulous accountant who saw the world in black and white, profit and loss, columns and rows. So when he and his wife, Ellen, moved into their new suburban home, the last thing he expected was for something to be... off.
It started with the window.
A large bay window in the living room overlooked a quiet, tree-lined street. But sometimes, in the reflection of the glass, Tom swore he saw things that weren’t there. A shadow moving behind him when no one else was home. A car parked outside that vanished when he turned around. An old man standing on the sidewalk, staring into the house—only to disappear in the blink of an eye.
Tom told himself it was just a trick of the light. But then, the window started showing him something else. Something impossible.
Act II: A Glimpse of the Future
One evening, as Tom was reading on the couch, he looked up and caught the reflection of a man standing in the center of the room.
Tom turned, expecting to see a burglar. But the room was empty.
He looked back at the window.
The man was still there.
Tall, wearing a suit, his back turned toward Tom. The way he stood was familiar—eerily familiar.
Then the man shifted, and Tom gasped.
It was himself.
Older. Gray-haired. Standing in the same living room but with an expression of sheer terror on his face. And in the reflection, the older Tom wasn’t alone.
Behind him stood another figure—something shadowy, featureless, looming just beyond his shoulder.
Tom turned around again. Nothing.
He looked back at the window just in time to see his future self mouth two words before the reflection faded like mist.
"Get out."
Act III: The Warning
The next few days were a blur of confusion. Tom tried to rationalize it—stress, a hallucination, maybe even a weird dream. But every time he passed the window, he saw more. Flashes of the future.
One day, he saw himself clutching his chest in agony.
Another, he saw Ellen alone, sitting on the same couch, crying—her left hand bare, her wedding ring missing.
Yet another, he saw flickering lights and an odd burning smell in the house.
Each vision left him shaken, but the worst was yet to come.
One night, he woke to a sound—a faint tapping. He turned to see Ellen fast asleep beside him.
The sound came again. Tap. Tap. Tap.
He followed it downstairs.
The living room was silent, moonlight spilling in through the window.
Tap.
The sound was coming from inside the glass.
Slowly, Tom turned to face it.
His reflection was there again. Older. But now he wasn’t alone. The shadowy figure stood right behind him, closer than before.
This time, his future self wasn’t just mouthing words. He was screaming them.
"GET OUT!"
And then, the shadow reached forward, wrapped its long fingers around his future self’s throat, and the reflection went black.
Act IV: The Escape
Tom didn’t wait to find out what it meant. He shook Ellen awake, muttering something about a gas leak, an emergency—anything to get her out of the house.
They packed and left that night.
A week later, the house burned to the ground.
The cause? Faulty wiring in the walls, a disaster waiting to happen. If they had stayed... if Tom had ignored the warnings...
He never spoke of what he saw.
But sometimes, in moments of quiet, when he passes by a reflective surface, he swears he sees something out of the corner of his eye.
Tom sees his own older reflection again. This time, the expression isn’t terror.
It’s knowing.
Resigned.
Like his future self is still trapped somewhere beyond the glass.
Watching.
Waiting.
Because some warnings don’t come from logic or reason. Some are whispers from the other side...
Waiting for you to listen.
What are the whispers? A warning? A message? A glimpse into something beyond our understanding? Perhaps they are all of these… or none at all. But one thing is certain—they are always there, waiting to be heard.
Tune in next time and listen closely. Because the whispers are always there… and sooner or later, they will reach us all.
Until then, keep your ears open. And remember—some whispers should never be ignored.
